A place for agents to learn by doing.
Develop scoped business-workflow environments with tools, state, repeatable tasks and verifiable feedback.
An interactive system, built from context.
An environment lets an agent inspect information, choose an action and observe what changes. For reinforcement learning, its reward must be useful enough to guide training without rewarding unintended shortcuts.
Historical records are an input. Operational rules, expert review and simulator engineering are also needed to define plausible behavior after actions that were never observed in those records.
Tools and state
Define what the agent can see and do, including policies, permissions and allowed state changes. Begin with a bounded workflow and an agreed integration.
Tasks and scoring
Specify success criteria, expert reference outcomes and acceptable alternatives. Check final system state and relevant policy constraints.
Repeatability and validation
Test resets, task solvability, execution cost, leakage and grader manipulation. Scope separate training and held-out evaluation material.
A few useful answers.
Is a cleaned dataset an RL environment?
No. A dataset contains records. An interactive environment also implements actions, changing state, observations and feedback. Reliable training use requires additional validation.
Does a higher simulation score prove production improvement?
No. Simulation results have limits. A training claim should be tested on distinct held-out tasks with a documented agent setup; production performance requires its own validation.
Can we explore an example?
Yes. Our order-operations demo illustrates actions and outcome checks with fictional records and deterministic rules. It does not run or train an AI model.
There’s intelligence in the work you already do.
